The property was perfect, absolutely lovely location. There’s something magical about it. We loved our stay.

I loved the location right in the new forest. Very peaceful and good for local walks. The Inn has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the beams and the open fire and the lovely large beer garden. The room was very cosy just slightly away from the main Inn in a self contained building which ensures that it is lovely and quiet. Nice ensuite with a good shower. The furnishings were very good quality and very comfortable. The food was very good with some vegetarian options.

This is an amazing place for bringing the family or a group of friends - plenty of space for activities and games. Loved how the house was marked as 'tipsy' and you do need to be there to understand it! Spacious kitchen and dinning area to socialise and bedooms are very spacious. The game cabin was really cool and the boys didn’t want to leave it. We stayed in a very rainy day but the garden is ideal for summer days.

Super comfy super king size bed, cosy well decorated room, Robert’s radio with classic FM left on for us was a lovely touch, gorgeous breakfast, cosy areas to relax and have a drink in the pub. Friendly staff, all food (breakfast and dinner) was great. Love that it was dog friendly!

Very clean, very tidy. Very nice of the host to leave us complimentary snacks on arrival. Had a little visitor's book with all the information we needed and even take out leaflets pinned to the wall. Very accommodating.

Great location for touring the surrounding areas, eg New Forest, Poole, Bournemouth etc. Its near an industrial park, but the cottage is secluded and it’s very quiet. John, the host was very contactable. Would recommend The inn on the Furlong in town centre for breakfast and The Old Beams Inn, a 10 minute drive away in Ibsley, is excellent for lunch and dinner.

Incredible location. Gorgeous pub with a delicious menu. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was exquisite, everything was decorated and furnished to perfection. The ginormous bath was a lovely surprising feature. Lovely tea and coffee options with added bonus of cafetiere. With scenic walks and wonders on it's doorstep this venue provides and calming and relaxing atmosphere all throughout. Will definitely stay again.

The view was amazing, we felt so tucked away in the trees, super calming. The hut was really cosy with a very comfy bed and the little table outside was lovely too. We went for the breakfast option and had it delivered to our door, it was amazing! We’d love to come back. Just over the road from Moors Valley Country Park so we explored there for a couple of hours before checking in. Had a lovely pub dinner down the road at the Three Legged Cross. 10/10 stay just what we needed 😁

Lovely rustic forest Inn, totally off grid. David the manager was great always cheerful and helpful even though suffering staff issues due to post covid problems. Breakfast choice was great and food really good. Luxury toiletries and up market hospitality tray..
