Fabulous traditional pub with a modern twist. Easily one of the cheapest rooms available in the peak summer season in Dorset but that didn’t mean I had to compromise on cleanliness or comfort. Great room with TV, kettle tea and coffee. Live music on Saturday night, which I was concerned I might hear the noise in my room- but my room remained quiet and peaceful.

Lots of thought has been put into this amazing guest house. I didn’t need to spend much because I could take my own food and drinks, my room had a full size fridge and there is a microwave, toaster, versatile seating and tables in the lounge. Loved not having to get up early for breakfast and the automated 24/7 check-in. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

The whole place was beautifully decorated and the room well equiped. The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was promptly served and freshly cooked. Just a short drive from Weymouth and having a pub next door for dinner was a welcome bonus. We hope to be back.
