    1. It is quite close to the train station. 2. Although it is a guest house, I can put down my suitcase before the check in time so that I can have some time to travel nearby. 3. They put some scent inside the room so it smells pretty good.

Location was fantastic - so close to everything with an TL bus directly across the road. That said, we mostly walked because nothing we went to was more than 15-20 mins walk. Loved the baths - the facilities were lovely and it was great looking out over to the hills. Staff were lovely and very helpful. We also really enjoyed dinner at the restaurant with a view over a lovely garden. It was actually surreal with the snow falling on the garden while we were having dinner!

The hotel is conveniently located, close to the main attractions in Kanazawa. We were delighted with Alex, he was incredibly helpful and recommended us a great place for dinner as it was Tuesday and all our references were closed (ended up being one of the best dinners we had during our stay in Japan). The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The Music bar was the perfect bonus to our stay in Kanazawa, good vibes, great music and great drinks! Definitely we do recommend it and it will be our choice to a future visit to Kanazawa!

We chose this hotel to be reasonably close to transport and tourist sites. The modern foyer was spacious and interesting. The staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful. There is an Italian themed restaurant attached to the hotel, which served tasty dinners as well as a very substantial breakfast buffet. Our room was compact but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was typical of Japanese hotels. We needed to use the laundry, which was modern, but not efficient.

This was our first ryokan stay. The staff was friendly and had great strength in being able to carry the luggage up the stairs to our room. Service was prompt and the breakfast and dinner were great, and it was a great experience to be able to sleep on a tatami mat. Dinner was a unique experience, although the unagi stick could have been better.

Staff was wonderfully helpful even made dinner reservations for us. The bikes were great fun for a ride along the ocean. They had parking available and even upgraded our room.

I love the Dormy Inn chain: they have a lot of amenities and such a great breakfast buffet for a good price. The hotel in Kanazawa had a amazing breakfast with fresh seafood donburi, tempura, lots of japanese options. The onsen was great, as was the manga library. Rooms are great, a twist of traditional and modern. The entire hotel breathes zen and quiet (except the madness at the breakfast buffet during crowded hours).

How clean and comfortable it was, the warm welcome of the hosts, the origami activity we had together after dinner, the room and the shower, to only name a few !
