Had a great stay in Gloucester at John's Inn. Everything was well taken care of. Friendly hosts happy to help and talk about the area. Wonderful experience staying in a historic New England house right on the harbor.

The location of the Inn is amazing! Tremendous waterfront with cliffs and panoramic views. We watched the lobstermen pulling lobster pots only yards away. And a glorious sunrise over the ocean.

Although an older property it offered a timeless charm and appeal. Staff were universally friendly and helpful. They are working out some kinks in their food service caused by consequences of the pandemic and not unique to this property. Our room had instant hot water in the shower.

The bed and room were spacious and comfortable. Even the shower had great water pressure! The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The place is a total winner.
