We did a wonderful hike from the Ostereis through the forest with many waterfalls and old stone villages. The staff treat you very well as the place is very small. The dinner in their restaurant was also delicious. The house is very old and charming.

The Osteria Anzonico restaurant serves typical dishes from the Ticino and a selection of homemade products. Very cute room under the wooden roof in this small village on top of the hill. We had also a very nice dinner and brekfast at the hotel restaurant , prepared by Claudia and her husband. All local food, very tasty. Their pasta with vegetables is very special :-) You cannot reach the hotel directly with the car: you should park it in the parking lot just outside the village and walk the last 200 mt. Google would try to take you all the way there with the car, but it is not possible! At the parking lot you find a sign that indicates the direction to reach the Osteria. Make sure you have your mobile phone with you for some light in the parts of the walk where there is no public light.
