The hotel was very welcoming by Monica from entering as well as the restaurant staff. The hotel was spotless and the room was very nice. We had dinner & breakfast which were very nice.
great historical building nice atmosphere and feel to it large spacious room with a bath good breakfast and nice dinner in the bar restaurant
Breakfast was superb and location perfect for kids. The winner for me is the staff it's same staff since I have been going few years and they all can't do enough for you and so friendly. Facilities are superb.
Keith the Manager was a great host and was very helpful. The house is very clean and the food and service the best I have had. The only little point although minor was I had to share a toilet and shower room but this is minor and no reflection on the great value this Guest house offers. I thoroughly recommend this place
We had dinner and breakfast, food was lovely, service with a smile, receptionist was very friendly and helpful
We had lunch before we checked it, it was fab we also had breakfast the following morning that was nice. The location was great we walked to the restaurant we booked for dinner as it was a 10 minute walk.
The hosts were so friendly. They made sure you were looked after but at the same time, gave you sufficient privacy We had dinner and breakfast at the accommodation. The food was the best we had staying in Arran. Much better than other accommodations (including a particular 4 star hotel in Brodick) that we've stayed in Arran. The location was also beautiful and so peaceful too.
Ayr is so lovely and cozy. The guest house is well preserved and chic. It is right next to the beach line and a stone’s throw from town centre. The room had a divine, homey view onto the inner garden. Thus, the guest house is 1,000% recommended :)
The Birlington Guest house is directly situated at the sea and only separated from the beach by the street. Very relaxing stay and a gentle owner Duncan who also is an excellent cook. We enjoyed dinner at the Burlington guest house. Clear recommendation.
Moira was lovely and her service was absolutely excellent. Not only did she change our rooms around to give us the whole annex to ourselves, she also recommended a few options for dinner, let us bring it back to eat at the guest house and made us breakfast bags as we were leaving very early in the morning
