We stayed at The Ostrich on the last night of our two-week trip to England and it was the best food we had, both lunch and dinner. We saw breakfast served in the morning and were sorry to have to miss it. Absolutely charming. I hope to go again... I mean, it's been there since 1109.
Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. The staff were all lovely and very attentive. The spa was very relaxing and super clean. Had dinner one night and food was excellent.
easy to upgrade bedrooms on arrival, the super deluxe was a lovely big room with nice view. all staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. dinner in the Riverside restaurant was very good
Wow! Slow gin in your room for a night cap, bubble bath and a rubber duck for your bath! So much character in the whole old coach inn to admire! Dinner and breakfast delicious! Coffee bags and bottles of milk. Furnishings very comfortable! Would defiantly stay again!
Having pre drinks at the Inn followed with a lovely meal and then the convenience of going upstairs to our room overlooking the gardens. Really a lovely experience. Thank you
Peacocks Decor Location Friendly receptionists Nice Breakfast Nice dinner
Very charming historic building. Good parking area, secluded, which we needed for our classic cars. Staff very helfpul and friendly. Had set up a table inside but no problem changing it to outside. Inside a charming dining area. Outside nice and quiet space to sit for drinks and eat. Of course no elevator or aircondition, if you want that do not go to historic inns.
Exceptionally well run hotel as I have come to expect with Innkeepers Lodge, well organised , clean and good food.
Historic Inn, really well refurbished in the centre of town. Plenty of parking, rooms compact but ready we’ll equipped e.g smart TV and radio, airblade fans and complimentary sloe gin. Food and service were both good, especially the breakfast which had plenty of choice for vegetarians.
