Our room was extremely comfortable and there are all sorts of special touches around the property. The staff are amazing and the food at the restaurant  delicious English fare.

It is in a perfect location away from the crowds of Burford, set in beautiful countryside. The pub and rooms had just been refurbished. The rooms were really cozy and the food was excellent. We visited lots of pubs in the area and this was definitely the best. The owner and her stuff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful, we would definitely love to come back.

The location for a Cotswolds visit was perfect and quaint. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay absolutely lovely. They freshened the room everyday whether we needed it done or not. Bathroom was very modern. The food was amazing, made to order, and served in the restaurant or take away to your room. Dinner starts at 6, but as we were starving and jetlagged, they served us early! We were the only ones in the restaurant! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

We’d just arrived in the UK and headed straight to chipping Norton. The restaurant was great. Staff was very friendly w excellent service. The room had old Atmosphere But had recently been nicely remodeled. The fox is in the heart of the town of Chipping Norton. Plenty of sites to see and restaurants within walking distance. We loved it. Nice Cotswolds Experience with out the crowds.
