The owner could not have been more gracious and helpful. She got the hot tub warmed up for our arrival, offered up restaurant recommendations, and provided activity ideas. The location was simply beautiful. Surrounded by plum trees and cows and mountain views. While our gite was close to another, we never heard our neighbors and felt as though we were alone in the quiet. We could walk up the farm road to the grocery store or to the wine tram.

Really enjoyed to come back to the place. Lynn and Mick are so caring and helpful hosts, and you can get a good diskussion about actual topics as well as advice on where to go, what to see and where and what to eat

Franschoek Pass Villa really does have the best views! It is spectacular to wake up to the views of the mountains and valley below. The cottage itself is beautifully and tastefully furnished.

How long do you have? This hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The concept that it is your home away from home hits every note. The staff are wonderful. The grounds are beautiful. Our room was so lovely, we didn't want to leave. Every moment spent here felt special. A typical day would be to go for a morning run - safe and with stunning views all around, it was a great way to start the day, Alter you come back for an incredibly delicious breakfast. Then get ready to either lounge by our private plunge pool or the main pool. If we wanted to go to town the main street was a 3 minute walk away which was perfect and anywhere just a little further, they arranged a car for us. Before heading to dinner, they offered aperitives and you can sit in the beautiful orangery, play scrabble, listen to live piano and enjoy a beverage. Excellent restaurants a walk away and coming home to a night cap offering. Back in the room, we would heat up the hot tub - the weather was perfect for it! Then a great nights sleep only to repeat the same magic the next day! But it wasn't just all of this. It was also the attention to detail. Every lounger by the pool had towels, a hat. Rooms were quipped with sun creams, beautiful woven beach bags and blankets for chilly nights by the fire. Everything had been thought of and nothing extra we could have asked for. Had it not been so fully booked, we would have stayed longer.

The cottage has a lovely outside bathtub that easily fits two people! We really enjoyed our stay. Bath robes were provided. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you could need and more! There are lights that automatically switch on during loadshedding - very convenient!

Huge rooms with beautiful furniture and decorations. The gardens look beautiful in a harsh environment. The hosts were very welcoming and made it all easy.

Enjoyed novelty of the ‘Echo’ system. Spacious bathroom with great smelling products while attending to green initiatives. Parking easy. Staff warm and helpful. Lovely hot tub.
