Located in Newton Mearns in Glasgow, Southside district, Parklands Hotel & Country Club is 10 miles from Glasgow city centre. The receptionist (Ron! Give this man a raise please) is the kindest, funniest and most lovely Scot I came across here, maybe even the most lovely person of the UK, we had such a warm welcome by him, definitely an amazing way to kick off your stay! The other staff is also very very helpful and amongst the kindest I’ve ever come across in my years of traveling. Well that is just the beginning, now come the rooms. The decor is absolutely amazing, super warm and cozy. The bed is absurdly comfortable and big and the bathroom is extremely clean and modern. The corridors are clean and look very safe because they’re well equipped with a lot of firedoors, there’s carpet and look very safe and cozy just like the room.

Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. Inside and outside was absolutely stunning, the most comfortable stay! The location is perfect. the property is very well equipped. we would definitely stay again and would also highly recommend it to all our friends and family.

Catherine was an amazing host on arrival, also great communication before arriving, lodge was beautiful decorated and immaculate, very well equipped with everything you would need, bed also comfortable, hot tub is an added bonus great to relax and admire the gorgeous views over this little piece of paradise, kintyre is certainly a beautiful place, we enjoyed our visit to gin distillery and gigha also Westport beach and Southend beach are all definitely worth a visit, also it was lambing time on the farm was lovely to see all the new born lambs.

Offering a garden and mountain view, South Barlogan Farm is located in Bridge of Weir, 23 km from Ibrox Stadium and 23 km from House for an Art Lover. The property felt fresh, comfortable and the views were fantastic.

Stoneymollan over Loch Lomond features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Balloch, 27 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens. It was perfect from the moment we arrived, the hosts are lovely and went way beyond expectations and their dog is amazing too! we had the hot tub both nights and Brian was great getting it ready for us and super accommodating. The treats they leave at the doorstep is also unexpected and lovely. It was almost like staying at a friends house, with the right amount of alone time! the owners were close by and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. the place is beautiful, and the pod itself was well stocked, they had the little things like cooking oil, salt & pepper, strainer and the usuals too coffee machine/toaster/kettle/plates etc. we were travelling with a 10 month old and they set up a cot and made sure we had everything he needed too. we would definitely do the travel from Australia to stay here again for a bit longer next time.
