Carlos was very helpful. We were having trouble using the phone and renting a car. Carlos was able to translate between English and Spanish for us. |

It was very clean and modern and even though we did not have a bathroom in our room, the shared facilities were always spotless. Even though Barcelona is an expensive city, the price for the room seemed high especially considering the neighbourhood. |

Staff were polite and friendly The quality of the rooms was VERY poor. Especially for the price. I paid more than my friends yet I did not have a shower in my room and they did? Even little things like coat hangers that were none removable yet too big for clothes to go over! |

The central location, the price The pictures are completely misleading. This might have been a nice hostal when it first opened but now... The walls are thin which make it too noisy, and not from the street. |

The Hostal Gat Raval was a fantastic place from which to explore Barcelona. The location and indeed the street Joaqim Costa are excellent. On leaving the Hostal there is a buzz about, cafes, bars and restaurants are easy to find and have an air of cool without being pretentious. The hostal is very clean and welcoming. Our room, the superior, was great as were the staff who helped with anything! |

The staff were fabulous. All of them spoke wonderful English and gave great directions to the sights. They also called and arranged a taxi for us in the morning, which arrived on time. Unfortunately, the water got turned off during our stay. It was a city problem, not an issue with the hotel, but I would have preferred the hotel to try and rebook us somewhere else. They didn't and we ended up not being able to use the bathroom or shower. |

A really god hostel (except of course for the breakfast but hey, that's not why we're there.) The location. It's central but then not. on the wrong side of La Rambla. Away from the beach! |

Nothing - it is an absolute shambles. The room had no windows, no natural daylight, it was cramped without any furniture other than a bed and fold-up chair. There were no drawrs, no cupboard, no rug on the floor, the bedding was basic with no extra blanket/pillows. The shower attachment did not fit the fitting on the wall, there was no shelf in the bathroom. There were no bedside tables. See above, besides there being no breakfast (which is advertised and paid for) our room was supposed to be a "Superior" double - I dread to think what a standard room looks like. The staff would not refund the room stay and were very unhelpful. You are not able to see the room before full payment is due, and even if you didn't like the facilities you'd still have to pay the first night's rate. |

Hotel is placed very conveniently in the centre of the city, close to public transportation etc. Rooms were cleaned daily. Building is in a very bad state, however it seems that restoration is on going. There were no bathrooms in the room unlike expected, only a sink in the room and shared bathrooms (reasonably clean). There is no breakfast included, unlike expected, only glass of juice and a muffin - there is no restaurant either.The worst thing was the kindergarten right at your windows-a lot of noise in the morning |

This is not a hotel that should be on your website. The hotel is really poor. The rooms on your website do at all ot match the real thing. Really disappointing |

It is easy to access everywhere and it is able to do early chieck-in. Smoking area. Please move it on the top or not close the room. |

The air conditioning. It was advertised as breakfast included. It was the meagrest breakfast we have ever had. Luke warm water in a flask and a disgusting muffin in cellophane and fake orange juice. |
