The staff were very friendly and helpful, but overall the standard of the hotel was very much according to its price. You get what you pay for and for 30 euros a night it was reasonable.

the hotel was near the metro Gran via, very convinient. Basic room.

the room was so so, with basic function, if you pay same money at other cities you can have better room, but Madrid is big city so you can not expect much...

The room was very clean and had housekeeping everyday.

The heating didnt work - which left me very cold at night. They couldnt improve it, so all I got was an extra blanket the next night. Even though the room was single, I expect a door at the bathroom! The staff was rather rude to me.

The hotel combines a gracious historic building, modern conveniences, extremely convenient location, and hospitable, welcoming staff. My room was comfortable, well-maintained, impecably clean and quiet despite the central location. The easy access to the metro and short walk to major sites were an added bonus. The service and facilities were excellent, the price very reasonable. Highly recommended

Está en plena Gran Vía de Madrid muy cerquita d la parada d metro Gran Vía. No es un lujo de hostal, pero por el precio que se paga merece la pena para pasar 1 ó 2 noches en Madrid. Tienes lo necesario en la habitación(x lo menos en la q yo estuve, q era individual): cama, teléfono, tv, baño (con wc, ducha y lavabo), una mesilla, silla, un armario pequñito en el balcón y aire acondicionado, muy importante en Madrid. No te ponen más q una pastilla de jabón en el baño, pero había toallas y todo estaba más o menos limpio.La recepción está abierta desde las 8 a las 23h. si sales fuera d ese horario, tienes q llevarte una tarjetita q t dan para q luego al volver t abra el portero y te dé la llave.Te acompaña hasta arriba y todo. Hay varios hostales en el mismo edificio y todos funcionan de la misma manera.

Lo único la almohada, q era muy incómoda, y x lo q he visto no soy la única huésped a la q no le gustó.

De kamer had een ouderwets interieur, maar was netjes. Prima uitvalsbasis om de stad te verkennen. Weinig last van lawaai buiten (kamer lag aan de achterkant van het gebouw) ook al dankzij de houten shutters.

Rumoerig : door aankomende en vertrekkende gasten 's nachts en tegen de morgen aan. We deelden een kamer met 3, maar in de hele kamer + badkamer maar één stekker.

Bien situé, accueil aimable

Chambre et sdb très petite, lit trop étroit, escalier pour accéder à la chambre, très grande difficulté à s'arrêter devant l'hotel en voiture. A déconseiller aux touristes en voiture et aux personnes agées
