La Najarra

We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the lovely swimming pool. In our room the aircon was very effective and there was lots of hot water and a bath. The lady receptionist was really lovely and helpful. In all, we really enjoyed our stay. Although all menus are in English Almunecar is a very spanish resort, we only heard english being spoken when we popped into an english bar and by some Americans. The sea was beautifully clean.

Although the room was clean it did smell smocky but that soon cleared once we opened the doors. Although some of the rooms at the front of the hotel have a sea view they are noisy because of the road, we would book one at the back next time as it overlooks a large garden and is much cooler as it does not get direct sunlight. Free parking on the weekend is difficult to come by unless you are really early in the morning but the hotel can direct you to an underground carpark (Leo) which cost £10 per day. It would be helpful if the hotel could provide local maps.

Hotel in a good situation close to old town and beach. Free wi-fi in room very useful.

Very basic in the room, standard of cleanliness quite poor.

Near to the seafront

It was a bit cold in the room as when you remove the key fob the electric goes off and so does the heating. It was Feb, but it could be improved. The bathroom needs updating.

Quiet room at back of hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. Cool and clean hotel. Free Internet use for those booking by Internet. Excellent breakfast.

No outdoor swimming or sunbathing facilities after end of Sept. but we were aware of this when booking.

Breakfast and cleaning was good.

El trato del personal de cocina/comedor, no ha sido correcto.

Mycket trevlig stad med gott om restauranger trots lågsäsong.

En liten anmärkning. Golvet rengjordes först efter fyra nätter. Det borde vara minst varannan dag.

som nordeurope tycker jag alltid att de spanska kuddarna är för tjocka och ohanterbara- hårda - svårt att sova.
