Costa Adeje Gran Hotel

Standard of comfort of the room and the location/views were very good. An excellent swimming pool.

The standard of the food in the main buffet was poor in comparison with other 5-star hotels we had experienced in this area. Although individually, staff were helpful and courteous, there were insuffcient of them to do the job required and service was poor. As a result the buffet was chaos at busy times with tables remaining uncleared, and guests wandering around looking for somewhere to sit. Similarly the A La Carte restaurant served good food but service was slow, again not enough staff. Facilities had been closed - there was only one bar open in the evening and the main entertainment lounge also closed. We were left with the impression that management had cut staff, facilites and food quality to save money or make larger profits.

my laundry was late being returned, the cost of food & drink is far too expensive & the service at the bars is ridiculously slow (we waited 40 minutes for our drinks)

I liked my room.good size. Staff helpful. Pools were great. Had a great time and would probably return. Liked the activities and evening entertainment for children.

It is very large and the dining room is very spread out which is difficult for people with mobility problem but the hotel is accessible for wheelchairs and buggies. The food in the morning great and at the pool restaurant. However evening buffet and the a la carte dining was disappointing. More 4 than 5 star

The cleannes of the room was very good.Free wireless internet.The hotel's ala carte restaurant is fantastic and very cheap compare to any other restaurants around.

The gym its not open in the morning.Housekeeping cleaning rooms every day from 8 o clock .its a bit noise.O And dont forget to put the do not disturb sign always!1 Knock and they comeing in. :D

Food was not wht I expected for a five stars hotel (too fat, not enough fresh fruits or vegetebles)

Nothing really - this is a good 5* resort hotel. Maybe the food doesn't quite hit the mark, but it's good enough and I've have a lot worse at 5* UK hotels!

The rooms were large and comfortable and the views from the roof top terrace were great. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Some of the food was over cooked (at the grilling station), however if you asked the serving staff, they were able to cook food to rare on request.

To start, my girlfriend and I are a young couple in our mid 20's. All in all we had a fantastic time at this hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone who is travelling to Tenerife. There seems to be a debate about the rating of the hotel on this site (4* or 5*). All in all the hotel is beautiful and providing your are not a complete fusspot you'd find it hard to fault it.

Room, pool

El hotel en sí. Grande, cómodo, con personal agradable y colaborador, con zonas comunes excelentes, tanto en el aspecto de ocio como deportivo y social. Muy recomendable.

Sí. El café y la leche de los desayunos del buffet extremadamente malos. Ni el sabor ni el color son convincentes. Demasiado aguados. Para mi familia ha sido un punto muy negativo al tener que desayunar allí todos los días. Hasta el niño no tomó leche en toda la semana y puedo asegurar que es su desayuno y cena habituales. Por otro lado es curioso y pienso que inaceptable, que un hotel familiar, con actividades específicas para niños, no disponga de ningún canal de televisión infantil para cubrir las horas muertas en habitación. Por lo demás estamos muy contentos.
