Olivia Plaza Hotel

κεντρική θέση του ξενοδοχείου, ευγενικο προσωπικό

μικρό δωμάτιο με εκμετάλευση του χώρου αλλά με ελάχιστες ανέσεις ( πολύ μικρό wc εξωτερικός νιπτήρας στο δωμάτιο). το πρωτο απόγευμα που επιστρέψαμε στο δωμάτιο στις17:00 δεν είχε ακόμη καθαριστεί !! πολύ φασαρία από τον δρόμο, ειδικά στα δωμάτια που βλέπουν στην πλατεία ( κάθε απόγευμα είχε ερασιτεχνική μπάντα ) . το βράδυ της κυριακής στις 03:30 ξημερώματα πεταχτήκαμε έντρομοι από τα κρεβάτια μας λόγω απιστευτων θορύβων από σύρσιμο επίπλων. σε επικοινωνία με την ρεσεψιον μας είπαν ότι ο θόρυβος προέρχεται από το κατάστημα παγωτών που βρίσκεται στο ισόγειο το ξενοδοχείου και δυστυχώς δεν μπορούν να κάνουν τίποτα για αυτό !!!!! συμπερασματικά ψάξτε για άλλο ξενοδοχείο στο κέντρο της πόλης γιατί τα 582 Euro για τρεις νύχτες είναι υπερβολικά

Μου άρεσε πολύ το ντιζάιν του ξενοδοχείου και το γεγονός ότι βρίσκεται στο κεντρο της πόλης και είχαμε άμεση πρόσβαση σ'όλα τα μέσα μεταφοράς. Επίσης είχαμε όλα τα καταστήματα και τα καφέ αρκετά κοντά ώστε να πηγαίνουμε με τα πόδια.

Θεωρώ ότι το πρωινό του ξενοδοχείου θα'πρεπε να συμπεριλαμβάνεται στην τιμή του δωματίου ή έστω να είχε μια πιο προσιτή τιμή.

Location was perfect for shopping and one could easily move around the city by walking, metro, bus etc. Although in the center of the city, rooms were quiet for sleeping. Hotel seems to be fairly recently renovated and is in good shape. Modern design. Room was adequately big for two persons and mainly for staying overnight. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

More accuracy needed in service.

Weird showers, design over practicality (especially in the bathroom) - I prefer more practical solutions. We had a suite, and the bathroom was most impractical.

Good location, nice room, good sound proofing. Reasonable price for what they offer.

Glassed in toilet area lacks some privacy. Breakfast seems expensive. I did not use it.

Showers were incredible. Location excellent yet quiet. Rooms were spacious especially for Europe. Restaurant very stylish; and waiter very professional and personable.

We had to change rooms from 2nd floor to 6th floor as the noise from closing and set up of cafe below bothered us at 3am and 7am. They were accomodating after 2 of 7 days. . two suggestions for hotel which are very minor: need hole to drain water in soap holder in shower. And it would be nice if they engaged a university student or professor with his/her class to do a little historical write up on the significance of walls and site of the patio restaurant at hotel.

The location of the Olivia Plaza hotel on the Plaza de Catalunya was fantastic, right in the centre of things. It was a little noisy at times but we were there during Merce 09.

The staff at the reception was very friendly. Hotel is very centrally located. It has small nice yard for breakfast.

In the rooms you can hear the noise of other doors shutting - to the degree that it sounds like someone else enters your room. Bathroom has glass doors - so you are almost like in the room. Cleaners should work better - its a recently renovated place, but bits of it are already run down.

The location is very good and convenient. The staff and specially at the reception were very friendly and speaking very good english

The best thing about Olivia Hotel is that is location is right smack in the middle of the shopping district. The side street has night entertainment till midnight and lot of souvenirs shop. Easy to catch their city tour bus too.

The shower room drainage was not so good. Each time you take a shower, the water flows out from the shower room and tend to wet the bathroom.

rooms are clean and very modern, location is perfect, breakfast alternatives are satisfied. To sum up: I liked it very much.

There is no window you can open! it is just a glass from up to down. You always have to keep the curtains close as poeple may see you in your room from outside. If you close the curtain then why we are staying there?Plus it is not a not a normal curtain I think they need to think about this...

Very clean, room, toilet and shower area. Plenty of clean towels too. Loved the location being so near to la Ramblas. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food and restaurant area.
