Quite simply put this hotel is excellent in all categories. From the great receptionist who couldn't do enough to help to the sparkling clean rooms, this hotel has it all. It couldnt be better placed to visit the beautiful city of Granada, and the Alhambra. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting Granada again - which I will! If you are looking for a great hotel in Granada for a good price look no further. |

The room was very well kept. Great shower. Good location. We stayed in room 433, and every morning at 8 30, someone on the floor above us began work. Our ceiling_their floor was very thin. We could hear every step the person above us made. I couldn´t sleep past 8 30. I´m not sure if this was the same for every room. Other than that, it´s a good value and a good location for seeing Granada and the Alhambra. |

The hotel has a very good location next no the central. There was a free internet and a luggage store as well. The bus stop to Alhambra was 2 minutes from the hotel. The staff is not so helpful and some of them didn't speak english |

I loved the view from the balcony where I could sit and have a drink and look out at the city, mountains and the church steeples. I also found the bed very comfortable. The only problem I had was the musty smell in the room which seemed to be coming from the bathroom/toilet. But when I mentioned it to the receiptionist, she said the building is very old. I understood, and I would still stay at Carlos V, I liked the fact that there was a supermarket on the ground floor ! It came in very handy. |

Excellent location for visiting Alhambra. Well signposted short walk from city centre. Good cafe district nearby, but hotel in quiet cul-de-sac. |

Position to see Alhambra. The visit erased poor services of this hotel but it is not their merit. I have internet only 2 hours in 2 days and the staff considered that was my fault ?!. The staff did not solve my request more than 24 hours. I did not received any apologies for this, even if I demonstrated that was their fault |

Computers with free Internet access were available in the hotel lobby. Hotel was very clean, appeared up-to-date. No breakfast option, but vending machines were present in the hotel and there was a grocery store in the same building. We stayed in the four-person room; it had four single beds. In the middle of August our air conditioner did not function very well. Helpfulness of staff and ability to communicate in English varied depending on who was working the front desk. |

Good location, great value. Nice breakfast on terrace - toast for €1 each plus coffee from the vending machine. Helpful, friendly staff. Quiet room. Nice views. |

The hotel was quite new and room was spacious. There was a shower that gave you the option to use 6 jet streams at once...very cool! The Internet connection was problematic. There were 2 computers for hotel guests that were beyond slow. The wifi did not work and no one at the front desk seemed to be able to address this problem. |

Very clean rooms. The bathroom was big and very modern with jacuzzi. Lovely balcony with nice city views. Not very easy to find. No airconditioning in the room. The room was a bit too dark (not enough light). No safety box, no mini-bar. |

The hotel is fairly close to the Plaza Nueva (10 mns walk) and there is a bus by the entrance which can take you to the Alhambra. So this was a fairly good location. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of the building, there is no clothes cleaning services. The room was small. |

At first, It was clean and quiet.Carlos v was a good choice to and has a reasonable price. Most important thing is that it is close to Al hambra. Walking + Bus= 15 minutes. The staff was good. It was a little bit small compared to other hotels in Spain. There was no refrigerator and the computers that you can use for free, were a little bit slow. |

Good location near lots of restaurants and plazas, lovely stylish rooms and internal areas. Room was a good size with an excellent shower. The communal terrace was also a nice place to sit out on. |

The staff there speak English what is not so common; they were very helpful with booking tickets for Alhambra and information about the city and travelling around; we could leave our bags till 6 pm the day we were leaving; it has only one star but shoul heve tree!!!! The air conditioning didn't work properly in our part of hotel but it didn't bother us; |

Good location, good view from some room. Facility is new. Room is spacious. The shower room facility is new but not not running smoothly, scupper is easy to be blocked. |

Good location; new & clean; good value for money; supermarket right next door; honest staff; willingness of staff to help (although they may not take the initiative to do so) Air-con not working - way too hot to sleep at night; thin wall; lobby on 4/f of the building |
