The swimming pool was not in ese and looked as if had not been used for sometime one reason we booked this hotel probably over priced compared to other hoels with similar facilities |

Large, comfortable room. Ease of parking. Very inviting reception area and general surrounds. Not very easy to locate. Although set in a quiet area rooms can be rather noisy because of thin walls and marble floors. Some staff rather off hand in their approach. |

the cleanliness of the rooms and service in restaurants was impeccable. hotel is situated on a large plot, hence the sport amenities. there is no free wifi - only paid with poor reception. the location is far from center, but you can get there by bus / taxi, which is recommended as parking in the center is very challenging |

Difficult to find since it has change the name not to long ago, but once we found it, it was a good option for having a car. Breakfast not worth the money. |

Good reception area. Good breakfast. Rooms generally comfortable. Restaurant and swimming pool not open (end of Sept). Reception staff not all as pleasant and helpful as they could have been. Air conditioning very poor in one room. We changed to another where it was slightly better. |

Setting and reception very attractive Yes - we had to leave early because we booked a four star hotel, it said three restaurants - all closed except the very small buffet for breakfast, which was bad - all hot food was cold!!! This ruined our holiday. We booked so we could stay in hotel for dinner and not every night have to go into town. It said 7 minutes on bus to city - not true at least 20 minutes in the car or taxi!!!! |

Good value for money. Good location: taxi 7euros into centre or 1.10euros by autobus Swimming pool closed.This was a definite black mark as this was a determine factor in my choice of hotel. It would help if they used the correct name as the Occidental Hotel on the internet as this is most confusing when trying to locate it |

location wise, this hotel is ok, not in the historic centre but in a quiet residential area on the no. 10 bus route, 10 minutes to the train station. from there its an easy walk into town. rooms were clean and tidy and larger than we thought they'd be. The staff have been taking rude lessons at the university of surliness. . We found a bar on the avenida brillante that was much nicer that spending the evening in the atmosphere free hotel. |

The food in the restaurant was excellent and many of the staff were helpful most of the time. The rooms were not soundproofed so it was incredibly noisy the first night. The location is in the back-end of nowhere and certainly not "seven minutes from the centre of town by public transport" as advertised. The "large grounds" do exist but mainly consist of scrubland hidden behind the tennis courts. Despite it still being high season and very hot, the swimming pool was closed. Some of the staff were extremely lax. |

We enjoyed the green and quiet environment, the outdoor restaurant and the pool (mandatory during summer time). The cleaning of the pool could be improved. |

We loved this hotel, very comfortable, lovely pool. Easy to reach city centre, the number 4 bus goes directly, or pleasant walk down the hill, suggest bus or cab back though! We were sorry to leave |

In the suburbs of the city with free parking and a swimming pool. 10 minute bus ride to the centre. Air conditioning was working but temperature was not adjustable and higher than we would have preferred. |

Cheerful and helpful staff at all levels, Clean and comfortable room. Near to bus stop to city centre (15 min ride) which cost 1.10€ each way free ,shaded ,parking at hotel. Breakfast buffet sets you up for the day!! |

Lovely hotel with beautiful lawns and swimming pool with loungers and towels in june. Junior suite is huge with good size bathroom including separate toilet, shower and bath. Lovely quiet location 7km from city centre on direct regular bus service costing 1 Euro 10c each way. Restaurant was not open unfortunately but had bbq by the pool.Tennis was available but at 38 deg was too hot after 9.00am! A very enjoyable break in a very interesting city but nice to come back to a quiet, relaxing, hotel. |

The room we were allocated was larger than most indicated on the floor plans, so that was a definite bonus with a two seater sofa and a comfortable chair. The outdoor pool was larger than average for a city-centre hotel pool and the garden setting was very pleasant and well cared for - also a bit of a haven from the city. Free parking was a bonus and one of the reasons we chose it. For such a large room and a business hotel, there was remarkably litle drawer storage space for two people. The breakfast choice was pretty much the same every day and a little short of four-star standard, to be honest, although perfectly edible. |

The layout of the hotel - both pleasant and functional. The friendliness of the restaurant staff, and the quality of both dinner and buffet breakfast. All the facilities of the bedroom. The beautiful setting. It's an impressive place. |

It was in a lovely location and the trip into the city centre and beyond was stress free - if we did not want to drive there was the option of a local bus at the end of the road with a frequent service. The only restaurant open was the main and expensive one however the feria was on so we ate out anyway couple of decent italian and asian within a few miles. |

Very pleasant hotel. great outdoors. Unfortunately weather was not good enough to enjoy the pool. Location was not perfect for my purpose. Always needed taxi/public transport to get into the historic part of Cordoba |
