Senator Gran Via Hotel

Πάρα πολλά πράγματα , ιδιαιτέρως : η τεράστια ποικιλία στον πρωϊνό μπουφέ , το στερεοφωνικό στο δωμάτιο , το μεγαλοπρεπές εσωτερικό του ξενοδοχείου και το ευγενέστατο και εξυπηρετικότατο προσωπικό , τα ωραία φωτιστικά στην πλάτη του κρεββατιού με τα φωτάκια από κάτω.

1. Είμασταν 2 άτομα στο δωμάτιο έπί 5 βράδυα , δηλ. 6 ημέρες , και δεν μας άλλαξαν σαπουνάκι στο νιπτήρα . Είχαμε τι ίδιο σαπουνάκι όλες τις ημέρες. 2. Μικρό το δωμάτιο για δίκλινο .

Του χώρου υποδοχής, του τρόπου επικοινωνίας (προσωπικού), της καθαριότητας.

The front desk was *very* helpful. Great location. Beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel. Metro right out front. Close to food, shopping, Plaza Major, Mercado San Miguel and lots of bars and tapas. Really an excellent option for the price!

Ok. There were some streetwalkers on the side street of the hotel. But to be fair, there was also the police station on the same street. Always felt safe but it was pretty overt. Simply ignore.

The hotel is on Gran Via, center of Madrid. The hotel is in all maters fine but I have two words: One lady in the reception is very unkind and slow. She's name is Laura.She let me waiting in the reception for one hour to make check out. The bellboy was also very bad and unkind. The hotel is very busy hotel but these people are not having enough practice to deal with it, excluding one lady in the reception called Monica she is wonderful kind.

The location was excellent and shops and cafes are just moments away and the metro is directly in front of the hotel. The room I had was good and well insulated from the busy street outside. I had an excellent stay and the staff were helpful.

I have no complaints about my stay. The only issue might have been a faulty tap in the shower but this was fixed without prompting by me and before I realised there was an issue. And the plumber was a very friendly and good natured chap - and he did his work very quickly.

the service was not good' it was poor and not nice

The staff (who could speak English) were excellent, the location great and the room was definitely value for money. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again if ever in Madrid.

The location and the kindness of staff

It was OK. The location made up for all the shortcomings. The staff is generally very helpful. Breakfast buffet is OK.

I tried to change the room and the kind receptionist did offer quickly an acceptable alternative.

Rooms are very small, try to avoid to get a room which lays inside as the noise of the inside fountain is very loud and you won't get any fresh air from the window. Although I found the room and bathroom were clean I felt that this piece of care for a nice atmosphere was missing, bathtowels were folt carelessly, also one bulb next to the bed was out of order. The clientele was very touristy... so I cannot recommend the hotel for a business trip.
