Every bedroom overlooked the swimming pool and the sensible opening times in the restaurant. Very little entertainment in the evenings and the hotel had no small quiet sitting rooms. |

being convenient yes, I specifically asked the receptionist that if there was any charges for local phone calls. I was told no charges for under 3 minutes calls. Upon checking I was given a 25 Euro phone bill for mostly unasnwered phone calls. What a surprise! Very nasty move! |

Helpful staff at the front desk, lovely breakfast, excellent decor and desigh features. Stayed a secon d night and were offered a roadside bedroom that was very noisy. |

we had the use of the privelege room which was very good. The hotel was spotless and the breakfast was very good. for a privelege deluxe room we felt it was a bit small and it had twin beds just pushed together to make a double which moved apart in the night. |

Comfortable room, very nice staff and lovely tasty dinner and breakfast. Hotel corridors smelt a bit musty, but the main atrium, dining room and the room were perfect. |

The food was good, & the hotel decor was good. We felt that the staff in the dinning room were less than friendly, whilst in the bar area there was a shortage of staff waiting on tables. Again a distinct lack of friendlieness from staff to guests.Also in order to exit the hotel via a rear door a specific card is required, which no one gave us or told us about when we checked in. We feel that the level of welcome from the staffleaves a lot to be desired. |

Food, pool area, good location We had 2 nights of interrupted sleep from noisy/drunk guests- arguing,slamming doors etc which is the sort of thing we would expect from a lower star/cheaper hotel. |

I spent 2 nights in this hotel in late September. The main entrance has a spanish Hacienda type look to it with taxis parked outside for easy travel around town.The staff were helpful and attentive and a generous breakfast was provided. The lobby was very spacious and there was a pianist playing 'old favourites' in the evening. The room was kept clean. The rooms looked a little tired. The one I was allocated on the 4th floor had a small balcony that was situated so as to get alot of the days sunshine. However, it overlooked the main highway. It is also quite far away from Marbella town. However, if Puerto Banus is your cup of tea, it is only a short stroll away, via the Casino. I thought the place over priced. And neither of the swimming pools is large enough to swim in. |

The design of the lobby was very relaxing. The rooms were comforatble and clean and there was good choice at breakfast. The bar menu food was not great , the toasted sandwiches were horrible. |

Location. Staff, apart from chambermaids who were friendly and efficient, were very offhand and whilst not unhelpful, did not volunteer. Very old fashioned, rooms were not up to the mark for the rating of the hotel. Air con barely worked. No coffee/tea station in restaurant, had to beg staff for tea, water invariably cold. Its the little things! We stayed in this hotel in 2001 and were very impressed. It has been touched up cosmetically but has run down overall. Apart from this, we have been to usa many times since, and Dubai and the service in those countries is marvellous. In htis hotel it was not. |

The position it's really good and the entrance to the Casino' of Marbella which is in the same building of the hotel it's free for the hotel guests... The room is quite old in comparison to the hotel standard and very different from what you see at the entrance, a luxury hall but the room, at least the one I had was nothing special. |

I didn't like the location. From your map it looks alot closer and not mention of the dirty subway connecting to the marina. The corridors of the hotel was thick with dust. Staff very unpleasent. Wanted to know why we was sat in reception, We explained we was staying at the hotel ?!?! They made the mistake of not taking our credit card for reference of the mini bar bill and demanded we paid for it days before we checked out. Rowdy guests in the lobby when returning to the hotel, Security escorted us to the room to make sure we were staying at the hotel. Not what i expect. |

Its a family friendly hotel with nice food and comfortable rooms We had a buggy and there was very limited access. We spent the week carrying a very heavy buggy up lots of steps every day, both within the hotel from the pool area and underground to the beach and the port. Very tiring!! |

area suits us very well as hotel is in a very accessable part of Puerto Banus.Handy for buses, port, sea & sand, cafes & bars, just a great location. I am a H10 club member and I asked for an upgrade as I have been told to ask for on previous stays(we have stayed 3 times this year at this hotel) I was told by female on desk didn't have an upgrade as all rooms were booked, the rooms were not booked as we could see oposite that the rooms were not used all week. I know the room numbers to ask for that we like, I think the receptionist was just being a bit funny with me. |

On arrival we were upgraded to the superior room free of charge. Delighted with this and the comfort of the room was top class. The friendliness of the staff has improved a lot since our stay last year. This year they were excellent and very helpful at all times. The pool area is always very clean & tidy. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and courteous. They were also excellent at their job. The food at the poolside bar was poor. This was a factor last year also when we stayed for ten nights. The pool side menu is extremely poor and the selection and quality should be improved. |
