Vincci Vía - 66

Η διαμονή μας στο ξενοδοχείο ήταν καταπληκτική. Η θέση του ξενοδοχείου στο κέντρο της Μαδρίτης, η άνεση και η καθαριότητα του δωματίου και το φανταστικό πρωινό.

loved the decor

atmosphere was dull , no music on terrace of the day ant the bar did not open unitl 7 pm on the terrace .

Rooftop Garden

Bad value for money, had to pay to have clothes ironed as they do not provide a iron for the room upon request (first hotel I have ever stayed in that this was a problem). So to have two shirts ironed within 24 hours was €18. Bad bedroom air conditioning, room was constantly too warm. In addition to this, if you choose to pay to watch a movie in your room, you need to turn your ac off as the volume from the tv is very low, therefore it was an altogether uncomfortable experience. If anyone else is considering staying at this hotel, do not book the breakfast offered online as it is cheaper to order it when you are there, I found this quite annoying as I was under the impression we were getting a good price for both room and breakfast inclusive, but we were actually being ripped off. Not happy with my stay whatsoever. I was at a wedding and so had a lot of friends in Madrid at the time and I saw a lot of hotels that were a lot cheaper and a lot nicer then the Vincci Via 66. The internet pictures are the only good thing about this hotel. I would like to point out that this is the first time I have made a comment about any hotel I have stayed in worldwide, but I feel so strongly disappointed with this hotel that I feel compelled to make my feelings known to others who may be considering Vinci Via 66.

I liked its good position with respect to the city centre

Loved the decor of the rooms and the roof terrace is great. Staff were really professional and helpful.

Once inside the hotel has a modern, funky vibe. We found our rooms to be of a fair size and very well appointed. The roof terrace is fab to chill out after walking around the city. The location, right on Gran Via, allows easy access to the city of Madrid. Madrid Vision Tour buses stop nearby and are a great way to see the city.

Our in-room safes did not work which was a bit of a pain but we managed okay without. Tea/coffee facilities in room would also have been good but wasn't a major thing.

The room was immaculate - if stars were awarded for the quality of amenities we would give vincci via 66 5 stars. The room was soundproof, very modern bathroom with bidet, flatscreen tv. The location was very central - and very close to the Plaza espana metro station. cultural activities within walking distance.

Air conditioning was not working very well, we were only able to get the room down to 26 degrees celcius on the first night, and after asking for it to be fixed, was able to get the room to 25 degrees. This was bearable during the start of summer, but would be stifling at the height of summer.

The interior design was very particular, at times to mondern, good if you are on vacation

That there was no where you could work, the tables/desks in the room was fare to noarrow and small

The design of the room was just fantastic. Loved the location and the staff were very helpful.

Location to the city, reastaurants, room facilities were a plenty. Marvelllous marble stair case

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was speedy and efficient. the room was attractive, modern and clean. the hotel is situated in a very central, convenient position for all the sights and shopping in Madrid. We were very satisfied and would recommend your hotel to others looking for a stay in Madrid

We would have liked to find the lounge bar open in the evening, we tried once and found it unattended, so therefore we did not go again. Just a minor point - there was noise from another room as someone returned to their room late at night (shoe noise as they walked around their room)

More correct information from the frontdesk. Better cleaning, especially the bathroom. Curtain in the bathroom not possible to look through. A safe where you not use your creditcard to open/close. (Impossible to go out without bringing your credicard, which you maybe would leave in the safe in evenings) Smell from the bathroom where the sink had no waterløck.
