Take a look at the "Golden Roof Museum" located underneath the Goldenes Dachl. It is nice to visit and definitly the better choice over the Zeughaus, when you are interested in Tyrol history.

All are within a five minute walk. The multicoloured buildings are on the same side of the river just behind the hostel. The locker was big enough to fit a small, carry-on suitcase in addition to all my other luggage.

The double windows really keep the noise in check, so we weren't bothered even with the singing/performances taking place outside. The rooms were large, as was the kitchen. We had plenty of space.
