Absolutely beautiful with trails and stunning viewpoints!

Absolutely beautiful with trails and stunning viewpoints! So much history! We highly recommend the bus tour “Abrahams Tour” and a visit to the Musée des Plaines d’Abraham (835 avenueWilfred Laurier). The animateurs here are engaging, warm and fun while sharing an incredible amount of knowledge about the history of this beautiful park. Make sure you don’t miss this on your visit to Quebec City.

Phenomenal feeling to think that a bloody battle of 15 minutes between an experienced General ( Montcalm ) and a young one ( Wolfe ), would end in an ambush of the French, but because of the tenacity, strength and faith of the French, they were the victorious ones in the end.

Well worth the visit. Review map to understand layout of stairs, entrance and exit areas from the the park back into the city sites. Wear good walking shoes, Plains of Abraham Museum is a great feature.

Plains of Abraham is a big park along the river built above former fortifications. It has several sections filled with flowers, sculptures, old cannons. Our favorite part was the area filled with tables, benches, and big gazebo in the center where band played and singers sung. People were enjoying vine in toll glasses, snacks and music. there is small cafe (and bathroom) selling coffee and snacks

The hostess was charming, kind and helpful, and made delicious breakfasts! She spoke fluent English as well as French. We loved the upstairs outdoor balcony where we ate our take out dinner one evening, and there is a nice covered seating area in the backyard.. The location was across from the Plains of Abraham which is a lovely park and you can walk to Old Town but it is a bit of a hike. The B& B is on a main street with a bus route so you can take the bus back from Old Town.

Great hotel in the very heart of Quebec City. Overlooking the St. Lawrence, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, XC skiing, ice skating, sledding on the Plains of Abraham. Staff was very friendly and were excited to have American tourists again post Covid. Our stay coincided with a great exchange rate with the American dollar worth anywhere between $1.35 and $1.30. A plus for us was a window in our room that actually opened.

I do recommend this hotel. The highlights were: - Good location: it is near the Plains of Abraham park, which is pretty and has many historical spots. Moreover, it is also near the old Quebec city (possible to walking to there) and to some nice restaurants and coffee shops. - Staff: Very nice and helpful staff. Mike was always willing to help and communicate as soon as I text him. 5-star staff. - Comfy bed and nice bathroom. Basic, but with everything that we need.

Our loft was small but well equipped with a kitchenette, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. The location was fantastic, near the Plains of Abraham and easy walking distance to Old Quebec City. There were shops nearby to buy groceries and plenty of choice for restaurants. Parking was free.

This hotel is well situated near the Plains of Abraham, and Rue St Louis, but not in the most touristy part of the Old Quebec. The room we had (19) was quiet and there was plenty of space. Bathroom was new and modern.
