Charles Bridge

This faithful friend has spanned the watery divide between the Old Town and Malá Strana for over 600 years. The stream of footsteps on the cobbles sounds out a restless beat, accompanying the myriad street musicians and performers. Bronze statues stand watch over the crowd, giving an eternal sense of grandeur to this most majestic of Prague’s bridges.

Sunset is one of the best times to view the bridge and walk across. Make sure to check out the John Lennon Peace Wall when you get to the other side of the bridge. Check out the Good Luck St. John of Nepomuk statue - it is shiny where people rub it for luck.

Excellent bridge with a lot of history around it. Great place to visit and learn more about Prague and it's history. I didn't know the last time a car or bike was allowed to go through the bridge was in the 50s.

This stunning bridge is pictureseque and like something from a postcard. However, especially on the weekends, it is absolutely swarming with tourists at all hours of the day and night, and so I would recommend getting there early in the morning (on a weekday) to maximise your visit. Otherwise, it's really hard to appreciate the architecture and history, and it is very busy with tourist-based vendors.

Amazing view and the way from the Narodni museum to the bridge is wonderful by walk. You get to see and experience different shops, eateries etc. It was raining when we were there so we didn't get to stay long on the bridge itself. But worth visiting.

Beautiful fantastic historical journey across the bridge.

Beautiful fantastic historical journey across the bridge. Do some research on the statues you will see before you go. We went up to the castle first then walked down to Charles Bridge and crossing into the Old Town area.

Bustling in the afternoon, but still a wonderful walk across this amazing bridge where artists line the streets between statues of old. And the views of the city are breathtaking. Early in the day would be the least traveled times for less traffic, but any time of the day is still work the stroll.

The rooms were very spacious providing two couples ample room to enjoy the apartment. It is also within easy walking distance of all major attractions including the Prague Castle and St Charles bridge with a number of excellent restaurants right in the neighbourhood. Our hosts were very welcoming and readily available when we needed a hand.

The hotel is located in the heart of Prague right near the Charles bridge and within walking distance anywhere downtown. Perfect location. Breakfast was awesome! And certainly exceeded my expectations (warm food, old cuts, bread, fruit, veggies, sweets and of course coffee 😋).

The hotel is located in the heart of Prague, steps away from the Charles Bridge, but at the same time in a quiet street and you can literally walk from there to restaurants, cafes, shops, historical buildings, etc. The overall experience was fantastic. From the reception guys, who by the way were very friendly, to the room itself; it was honestly more than expected, specially since it was our first time in Prague. We loved it and will come back to the same hotel when in Prague.

We loved everything about the hotel. It’s a perfect location, very near the Charles Bridge but, remarkably, away from the crowds, very quiet, and with a perfect location on the banks of the canal (our room overlooked it). The staff, especially Bigi, who checked us in, were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good as well, and the breakfast room rarely crowded. It was a lovely place for a few nights in Prague.

The apartment is in a very nice street in Mala Strana, not overly crowded or loud, but super close to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge etc. There is an option to eat breakfast in the Cafe on the ground floor, which has a very nice atmosphere. The room was spacious, with a comfy bed and a kitchen, plus a large bathroom. The room was very clean.

Everything, starting with the room, the staff attitude, the breakfast, the details and attention to clients, parking. Great job! It convinced me to try at any time another hotel from the Czech Inn network. The hotel is located at the Slavia Praga stadium, a bonus for football fans. To reach the Old Town Center of Prague, there is a tram at 3 min walking, no 22 - reaches the Charles Bridge in 20-25 min. There is a Mall across the road. The area is quiet and opened, with large spaces
