Cham is a good place to go to see historical Regensburg for the whole day, and the other day a historical centre of Cham-Janahof was also nice to go through. This hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, though there is no problem to reach it by car - some 5 km in the village close to Cham.

The town of Cham looks like a typical Bavarian town, everything very neat, but it does not seem to have very much to offer.
Its surroundings are really stunning, with the Bavarian forest and lots of scenic roads nearby.

A hidden gem.
A hidden gem. Quirky streets, great town square with maypole and sculpture, outside cafe/bars and a beautiful church. You enter the town over a bridge though an arch, very picturesque. Good local, independent shops in the town. Although if you want the larger retailers they can be found outside the town on a business park.
Nice hotel interior. Good location. Outdoor pool wonderful with great view over city and hillside. Comfortable beds, quiet at night except church bells making noise every 15 minutes, advise closing windows. Very good breakfast, made to order eggs, wide selection of meats, cheeses, breads and cereal etc..
Friendly helpful staff. Secure bicycle storage.
This is a small hotel in a village near Cham, nice, clean and peaceful. We just stayed for one night, so not much to tell. Good impressions overall. Great views to fields and some remote hills. Parking space is decent. Price was also good.
I like how everything is clean.
I really enjoy the steam rooms and saunas. The staff is wonderful. I absolutely love the breakfast options and that it stays open until 10:30am. I appreciate how close the hotel is to the INUS clinic.
Basic hotel in a beautiful area of town. very good breakfast. friendly man serving drinks. we were disappointed that we had no hot water when we arrived dirty and tired after a very long day cycling
The hotel is well-located and everything is within reach. It´s a small town anyway. The hotel has a nice breakfast with a variety of options and also has a Biergarten in summer.
The room was amazingly spacious and clean and it felt very relaxing. Shower was a dream. All the staff was lovely and it was definitely one of the best hotels we've stayed in!
The room is very very spacious with lots of light! The parking is big and not crowded. The hotel is close to the city center but you still need a car to get there.
