There is a good shop and hotel in the middle of the village,...
There is a good shop and hotel in the middle of the village, plus also another hotel on the top of the hill "Koli". Neart he village also "Räsävaara" observation tower allowing good views to the forest landscape and lake. Also the new hotel in the Kolinkylä village is easy to see from observation tower. It's a small but cute little place with excellent hiking...
It's a small but cute little place with excellent hiking options. Few other locations along with Koli are close by in case you wish to see more. Very easy to get to see the Akka-, Ukko- and Paha-Koli and enjoy the view to lake Pielinen. I recommend to drive also to the harbour and see lake Pielinen also from the shore.SannaFinland

Lot of space even for a big company (but take into account that there is only one shower in the house). The house is equipped with almost everything needed, a dishwasher / washing machine is available that is very nice. We were forced to buy our own cooking oil and sugar, but based on my experience these products should be available in such a kind of property.

It is a special place with special hosts, which were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the Ukko-Koli hike and the farm self is located in the middle of the nature. The breakfast was very delicious and organic. The sauna should be amazing - but we didn‘t have time to used it.
