Honestly, this is an absolute gem of a hotel. Hotels in Paris can be really ... hit and miss, at best, and awful, at worst. This hotel is completely gorgeous. The room was lovely, sparkling clean, great sheets (!), the bathroom was spacious, sparkly clean, everything felt brand new. There's a 'floor' where you can work and relax at -1, and another, at -2, with the most lovely breakfast (I was expecting a coffee and a croissant!). It's about 40 seconds walk to the metro, and it's right in the middle of the 5th (a glorious district), but on a really quiet little hidden street, but really near, well, everything. And you can walk along to Notre Dame, The Louvre, the river. Highly recommend. I used to live in Paris, and was there visiting old friends, and was worried I've have just a cramped (but hopefully clean) place to sleep, but it was so much more.

The property has been completely renovated since we were last there. The rooms are nicely decorated, bed is comfortable, bedroom and bathroom are spotlessly clean, good breakfast in a charming downstairs room. The staff were kind and helpful. Great location in the center of Paris, but quiet. Cute restaurants on the island as well. I’d return tomorrow, and definitely will, the next time we are in Paris!
