Exceptional museum, with exceptional workers. I went with a friend from Portugal to visit the museum and the painting section, in particular. The workers were exceptional in the attention they gave us and in answering the questions we asked. I am very thankful.

I love the ways the stories are being told in British museums. Exactly what I mean: it’s not about showing exhibits, it’s about telling stories. The story told in the Ashmolean Museum is the great one as it tells you about the mankind. Egyptians mummies, Alfred the Great’s jewels, Tibetan statues – you travel through the ages and continents but you never lose the feeling that it’s still the same story. We were going to spend two or three hours there. It took us more than five hours and still we missed some parts of the Museums. Fortunately, it’s free so you can go back and see the rest whenever you want.
