Camden Market

This bustling night market popped up to serve the crowds visiting a nearby temple. Today, its stalls overflow with tantalizing local delicacies, from fresh butter crabs and eel stew to rice noodle soup filled with shrimps and pork. Don’t miss Keelung’s sweet specialty, paopao – snow-like shave ice smothered in fresh-fruit jam.

Usually busy. Watch out for pick pockets.

Usually busy. Watch out for pick pockets. Great little stalls and shops to go into. Food court is great, although when busy nowhere to sit. Be mindful if going with older or people with mobility issues

I was concerned when I was told Camden market was being basically rebuilt. Although I have to admit they’ve done an incredible job. So much choice at reasonable prices. It’s defo worth a full day out, there’s many bargains to be found and an amazing choice of various foods from around the world.

Visit Camden via the canal boat cruise.

Visit Camden via the canal boat cruise. After a relaxing leisurely cruise it kinda appears out of nowhere. It's ok to visit. We couldn't find any vintage market stalls, it was all Chinese imports and fake clothing and jewellery.

Eclectic mix of styles, crafts, arts and fashions, handmade items of all kinds. From clothing to jewellery to pottery to paintings and the street food stalls are amazing and reasonably priced. Bohemia meets the Kings Road. A definite must visit if you are in or can get to north west London.

Ghastly, full of the most awful tourist tat and crowded too.

Ghastly, full of the most awful tourist tat and crowded too. One of the worst markets in the world. This market used to be full of original sellers and stalls and unfortunately it full of rubbish imported from the far east. Nothing like it used to be and since the fire it has changed beyond recognition.

It was great for a family of five. The location is awesome - right next to Camden Town underground station. Very near is the famous Camden Market, allies with shops and souveniers. Pharmacy and grocerie store is just across the street. Good bus connections. Fresh bedsheets and towels forneveryone. Both of the sofas in the kitchen/living room could turn into beds if staying with even more than 5 people. Famous Camden bars just around the corner.

Apartment in amazing location (1 min from northern line), clean, and compact. Very breezy on a warmer day but it could get hot. Luckily we had a fan as well. Kitchen stocked with kettle, washing machine, comfy pillows, iron + board. Good value for neighborhood (loads of food spots, 10 mins on foot to camden market!)
