House, staff, rooms and food were all good. Was a little worried about road noise but the double glazing cut that out well. Bed was comfy and had two good nights of sleep. The only thing that mildly let the room down was the shower which was a bit tight for the larger person. The hotel is about 20mins walk from the centre of seahouses. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would consider staying again if holidaying in that area.

Menus for both breakfast and dinner were extensive and imaginative. The food was delicious. Service very attentive and friendly. Our dog was made very welcome. Bright clean bathroom. Location very convenient for visiting both Holy Island and Bamburgh castle. The special touches of afternoon cakes and tipple were delightful especially as the cakes were delicious.

The hotel is old and has lots of character. The staff are really friendly. Morgana was really helpful and very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel. We had a great stay and enjoyed looking in the old ballroom. We played cards till late in the bar, having drinks in front of the real fire. Chatted to many of the locals. It was a really nice weekend. The food was also great.

Dominated by the castle, Bamburgh is a lovely piece of Northern English history. The church is hugely historic and well worth a visit, as well as the Grace Darling museum. Bamburgh seems a lovely place but we were surprised that there didn't seem to be a general shop or an obvious one. The range of eating places is not wide and and the ones offered seemed quite expensive. However we decided to eat in the hotel and that turned out to be a good decision.

Great for dogs, lot of dogs staying there and all well behaved and under control. Nice pet friendly pubs and restaurants. The Victoria Hotel was brilliant, staff Fantastic, breakfast was included and it was great each morning. We ate at the hotel for two evenings and the food was divine. We only stayed for two nights - there's lots of history there and we really enjoyed the castle, beach and church. Delicious food readily available and we're planning to return for a longer trip as lots to see in the area.
