I loved everything. The location is wonderful for visiting the forbidden corner and exploring the dales. The pub is lovely and unspoilt unlike those plastic monstrosities in the rest of the country. The staff are fabulous and so friendly, this is real Yorkshire hospitality. The rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet with great tea trays!

Excellent staff, good food, very comfy bed, very clean! Great location for touring! We stayed just the one night for a visit to the forbidden corner and glad we did. Breakfast was excellent, plenty to choose from. I'm very sorry to the host but I forgot to mention that the tv wasn't working.the WiFi is strong enough.maybe just a couple of small improvements would be to sort the bathroom wall and pop a socket for the kettle where the table is. Rest of it was great, thanks!

We booked a trip to the Forbidden Corner and booked our accommodation separately. The accommodation was great and very welcome after a few hours spent exploring Forbidden Corner and the local Tupgill Park. The Saddle Room restaurant was amazing with great food, ales and wine and just over the road from the accommodation. Pod coffee machine was a real bonus and complimentary biscuits. Comfy lounge and a good TV for the evening. Very clean and comfy beds.
