A very good place to visit, get there as early as you can as it gets very busy.take the park and ride buses, but just remember where you've parked your car,as it could well be dark when you return to it

The locals leave Lincoln when this is on.

The locals leave Lincoln when this is on. What started as a small gathering of local shops, studios and artisans some 30 plus years ago in the grounds of Lincoln Castle was Hijacked by the local council. It is a money making venture. It has little to do with either the real people as they have been pushed out because of the huge amounts of money a stall costs. Visitors wishing to see Lincoln should go at an other time. The only connection it has with Christmas is the time of year it is held.
