“In this area of London, almost every step you take along the Thames river gives you a feeling for Charles Dickens characters, but you must go by foot get around the back streets and explore. Despite the new high rise buildings there are still many old houses and warehouses that evoke a sense of history. Within a 20/30 minute walk, you can get to Tower bridge, St Paul's Cathedral the modern Tait gallery, the London eye and the houses of Parliament. You won't get bored.”
