The hotel is situated near the Plaka and the Acropolis, making it easy to walk to many interesting sites. Metro and Tram access are only two blocks away and the city bus is just around the corner. This is a real little gem of a hotel within a few minutes' walk of the Acropolis and the old Plaka area of Athens. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the bar cosy, the room was clean and well maintained. And the bed ... well I've stayed in hotels around the world for over 30 years and I can honestly say the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The Acropolis Museum Hotel is the perfect location for a city break. If you are reasonably fit you will never need to take a taxi, bus or metro to visit all the places of interest in central Athens - they are all within walking distance. It's such a great little hotel I was tempted to keep quiet about it! We will definitely return.…
