It was fantastic that there was so much information in English. I did not expect that, and it was a real bonus. Don't miss out on the ground floor, there are monumental statues there. I enjoyed it as much as the Egyptian museum in Cairo, but in a different way- well worth a visit if you enjoy Egyptology.PaulAustralia - 10Scored 10
The renovated Museo Egizio is a must in Turin.
The renovated Museo Egizio is a must in Turin. Worth visiting the city only for this, in my opinion. But Turin is beautiful so be sure not to miss the other attractions. The museum is a jewel and I recommend the 'Passeggiate del Direttore': organized once a month, the museum's director, Christian Greco, takes a small group of guests around a specific area of the exhibition after closure time. Since the area changes everytime is an experience to repeat (often, if you are lucky).

He went out of his way to get me my bus ticket and to show me how to get to the train station and ran after me to give me my notebook and various files I had accidentally left in the room. I really appreciate all that he did for me. =)
