Location was great, 10 minutes from Hakone-Yumoto station and was very easy to use bus/train to explore surrounding areas. Absolutely loved having our own private onsen, was one of the highlights of the trip and definitely worth it!! Meals were large quantity, fresh and traditional, which was a great experience.

Felt so warm, cozy yet modern at the same time. Shower was immaculate, king-size bed was unbelievably comfortable. Honestly wanted to stay in the room the whole day!! There is also a sushi restaurant within the hotel — must book in advance though, and slightly pricey. The location is also unbeatable, about a 6 minute walk from the Hakone-Yumoto station.

There were good facilities to cook and wash the dishes (there was a drying rack for dishes too!). There is ample room to hang out and tables with storage space (drawers). WiFi was really good and instructions on how to use the appliances were clear. Convenience stores and Hakone-Yumoto station are fairly close (be prepared for a light workout if you are walking from the station with luggage).
