Get there early and park close to the falls.
Get there early and park close to the falls. Parking isn't expensive and after you see the falls, you can leave your car there and walk down to the Lake and carry on via the boat tour to see other area attractions.

During the check-in process, the staff made many wonderful recommendations regarding the restaurants and supermarket in the area, the best ways to get to the areas we intended to visit, and were just so genuine and warm to us, and made us feel at home. The location was also very central, if you are interested in visiting Kegon Falls, Ryuzu Falls, Lake Chuzenji, so it was absolutely perfect.

They spoke enough English and always had a smile. The parking is a little tight but we parked in the back on a much less busy street. Walked along the lake and to kegon falls.

The staff are so kind and helpful, the breakfast is delicious. I've never had such great fruit! The location in Nikko is perfect! It's right by the river, a short walk to the shrines and very close to the bus stops to go to Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji. The are is quiet with a conbini nearby of you need snacks and the onsen bath is THE BEST. My friend who came with me is from Aomori and she said the onsen was super high quality.
