the room was clean and tidy ,bed was really comfortable and the staff were excellent. The hotel is looking a little tired and could do with a bit of an upgrade. the food was great.

Our stay at Stoneridge was little short of ideal! The grounds were simply stunning - you take a steep drive up to the resort, passing by vineyards and rose bushes. The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!
