The hotel is in the centre of Tavira, but at the top of a hill if you are elderly, if your young, middle aged and fit that will not be a problem. The reception area and sitting areas around the reception are presentable and kept spotless. The rooms could do with a bit of T.L.C. but are spotlessly cleaned everyday. We loved the location. Our balcony overlooked the river. We watched the fishing boats bringing in their catch each morning and the subsequent flurry of sea-birds fighting for tid-bits! The changing light reflecting the tangerine roofs, white walls and yellow, red, green and blue doors was like an Impressionist painting. Everywhere was within walking distance and there's so much to see. Another major plus for Tavira is the free internet access plus free printing in the main square. The tourist office is very helpful too.…
