Myself and 2 girlfriends spent a night at the Gulhanepark hotel in August 2009. We stayed in very cute rooms. Brandnew, clean with very functional bathroom and airconditioning which is needed in the heat of summer. On a quiet street - no noise at night. The key advantage of this hotel is the proximity to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and other cultural sights in Istanbul. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff were also very accomodating and helped us (especially sonar manager of the hotel). I would highly recommend the Gulhanepark Hotel…
