Georgia Aquarium

Go big or go home! This colossal aquarium is right up there with the world’s largest. Ten million gallons of water slosh about in its titanic tanks, whose residents range from cuddly otters to otherworldly jellyfish, via countless shimmering shoals of silvery fish. If you fancy a taste of life under the waves, book ahead to befriend belugas or swim with whopping whale sharks.

    It was to crowded.

It was to crowded. You coudnt spend time looking at anything because we were like herds of cattle. There was 5 in our group and we had to hold hands the whole time so we didnt get lost in the crowd. It was to loud. We didnt get to see the 🐬 show after standing in line waiting because there wasnt anymore seating. They allow everyone to run to get seats, so its like playing magical chairs if you dont get a seat your out. Would love to go back if we could actually spend time there and take our time, but will more than likely never return and that was what our whole getaway was for, The Aquarium...

I liked the dolphin show which os worth for the money and food in the cafeteria is very fresh, tasty and you have so much options in the cafeteria, We really loved it. There are few excellent things and I expected more sharks to watch (bigger ones, I see only few bigger sharks) Kids would enjoy a lot and parents and everyone ensure you have atleast 4/5 hours to spend inside during holidays and weekends due to crowd it might take time to cover all.

This aquarium is huge and fantastic! So many different routes, tunnels, and things to see. They offer dolphin shows but we did not get to that while we were there. Food options are a little pricey but worth it if thats your lunch option. Overall, very good value!

We chose the Hilton Garden Inn as our jumping off point to our visit to Atlanta. The Georgia Aquarium is across the street as are the Coca Cola Museum and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights (a must see!).
