rooms. The lodge is located at the base of the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort ski hill which also features mountain biking trails and hiking trails. Golden's city centre is 6km away, which is a 10 minutes drive by car while Golden Golf Club is 5km away.

Kindly note that the main lodge is not pet-friendly due to the built. Only the chalet that is located just across the main lodge is pet friendly.

A little piece of tranquility probably best describes the lodge. The place was spotless. The host so welcoming it was like coming home. Views were stunning. Hard to say goodbye to, as it was so peaceful.

The first room the staff gave us looked into a stone wall and there was no chair other than a large stuffed chair. I went back to check-in and asked for a room with a view and was able to get one with a straight back chair (for laptop computer use) and a wonderful view with no hesitation. Be sure to ask for a valley view when booking! No charge parking garage was safe and convenient.
