The cabañas maria hau are very recommendable! Everything was very clean, just as it appeared in the pictures. The 4 cottages come with a well equipped kitchen and are hidden in a beautiful garden full of flowers and with a lot of shade and privacy for each terrace. I was very glad that the windows are protected with moskito protection screens, so that we had no problems with flys or moskitos! Maria was so helpful with all questions we had at any time of the day. Additionally they picked us up and brought us to the airport. They even organised a guided tour for us from one day to the other, calling all guides they knew. We just felt like part of their family! I would defenitely come back to this beautiful gem on the isla de pascua!!!! Thank you so much Maria and Laura!

it’s in a garden near the airport ( but only 3-4 flights a week) and a 15-20 minute walk downtown the folks that run it are sweethearts they have rental cars so you don’t even have to leave the property for that…. and their jeeps are as cheap or cheaper than the places in town….

The breakfast was good for us that eat meat not so good for a couple of our party that were vegetarians. There were a couple hiccups but were remedied quickly. Ran out of gas for hot water and power went out which was our fault for running the A/C and hot water kettle at the same time. Once we knew then no more problems. It's a little bit outside the main drag, but we preferred that. Super close to the museum and Tahai is in your backyard. A short 10 min walk across Tahai and into the heart of town.
