Very comfortable stay. Perfect location before entering the park. Nice bar and restaurant overlooking the river. Had a great evening in the bar with the locals and other visitors, mucho craic.

I was a bit sceptical after reading some of the reviews online but I didn't experience any inconveniences or discomfort. I really don't understand what people expect. Room was clean and nice the owner was also nice as much as he needed to be. I would definitely come back to Sierra Lodge

We had all three meals, and these are my favorites (as a vegetarian): - Breakfast: Fluffiest pancakes + Peacock Omelette - Lunch: Veggie Sandwich + Pizza - Dinner: Spinach Ravioli Pasta + Mocha pie The stay in the lodge was very comfortable too. Lodge is on the road ( but all of them are ) on the way to Sequoia national park . Good restaurant next door in adjacent lodge on the river . Very friendly reception and room was available early .
