Other than this the rest of the stay was disappointing and this place should not be on booking.com. The photo's on booking.com are very old and staff and friends of staff were loitering around the lodge and in the restaurant areas. Some of the children were sleeping on the couches in the reception.

We had a super welcome when we arrived, we ate in the restaurant, wagyu open sandwich and a wagyu burger, delicious. We also had the 300g steak,.on another occasion, amazing. The staff were all friendly and happy to help in all matters when asked. The secluded lodge is away from it all, I'd recommend a hire car, although definitely an Uber to get to and from the Franschhoek Wine Tram, which is a great day out.AngieYoung couple

Jolande the owner was so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble!!

The owners are very friendly. As there is a Pet Hotel on the premises that was a bonus. Our doggie enjoyed that and he like Ansie (the owner). I would book here again if the undermentioned problems were to be seen to.
