Only 10 km from the famous Cango Caves, De Poort Country Lodge offers self-catering accommodation. A continental breakfast is available on order at an extra charge and only available as room service. The lodge is opposite a game farm, surrounded by mountains and a river.

Situated at the waterside is one of the best a La Carté restaurants in the Southern Cape, where award-winning wines and Karoo cuisine made from fresh, local produce is served. Alongside the restaurant is a shaded deck from which spectacular views of the Swartberg mountains can be enjoyed and even hippos, Elephants, other wildlife, and bird species that visit the waterhole frequently can be spotted. Room service and a shuttle service are also available on request. Set 6.5 km from Oudtshoorn, Buffelsdrift Game Lodge is located just off Route 62. There is free parking on site and a shuttle is available on request from George Airport, 71 km away.

The staff were so helpful and welcoming, amazing service from all. The tent was extremely comfortable, couldn't wish for anything better. The outdoor shower and big bathtub were a real bonus. Food was delicious. We were late coming from dinner to our evening game drive so they waited for us to come back and gave us desert back at our tent. Would definitely stay again.
