The salt water pool was great for cooling off and the outside area just read a book and chill. We even saw our fist wild badger driving back from town one night, bonus! We had unfortunately had a few very stressful weeks in France for work and this was an oasis for us when our plans changed last minute, we can’t thank them enough for their hospitality.

The owners were so warm and friendly even with a bit of a language barrier. They showed us and our children around and introduced us to their animals, all of whom seem very well loved and cared for. They even ordered our dinner for us! The cabin was cosy, clean and smart and we all slept very well. We were offered breakfast for a very reasonable supplement and it was charming: pastries, bread, juice and coffee delivered in a wicker hamper. The shower was unexpectedly fantastic (given the type of accommodation) with lots of hot water. Our children (18 mths and 3 years) were enchanted by the whole experience.
