The room was quiet, spacious, and very clean. The cabins are far enough from the highway that you don't hear traffic noise. Sitting on my balcony, I felt like I had the whole redwood forest to myself. Loved that there was no television set mounted on the wall. I did not use the fireplace, but it was gorgeous. The bed was just awesome.

The restaurant was empty as were the cabins and rooms. It was dead.

The room was cozy and warm with hot water, which were welcome for our winter stay. It was located inside Big Sur, so there were only a few lodging options available. The price was adequate considering the location.

Great shop with all the bits you might need and some great clothes and souvenirs. Pitch black at night and a clear star filled sky. Beautiful. The amazing trees are wonderful. Firewood delivered daily.
