A super last minute booking (literally hours) after looking through a few options in the area this ticked all the boxes. Host was brilliant and we arrived very late evening to a very welcoming twinkly Christmas tree and everything we could need to make a hot drink and unwind. The apartment blew us away, it is truly beautiful and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We all slept really well and found the evening to be quiet and peaceful.

Stunning property, building, and location. Can’t say enough good things about the atmosphere and attention to detail.

Amazing gem of a hotel with a great restaurant downstairs. Checkin was efficient and personal, which was a nice touch. Room was clean, warm, and well equipped. Ate in the restaurant for dinner. Set menu on a Tuesday which was a little disappointing as I'd seen the a la carte menu on the internet and really wanted to to try it, however the set menu was delicious, and great value for money (although no choice, so good job I liked what was on the menu!) All the staff were great, so friendly and welcoming. Bed really comfy and I slept well. Breakfast was delicious again, good selection to pick from. I had salmon and poached eggs. Perfectly cooked. Parking available on the street outside free after 6pm until 8am. I think there was another carpark nearby if you need to park longer than overnight. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Located in Cudworth, 40 km from Sidmouth, Corner House provides a garden and free WiFi. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a Full English/Irish breakfast. Corner House offers a terrace. Hosts Martyn and Marina were lovely, so thoughtful and hospitable. The food (pretty much all homemade) and all the little details really elevated the experience and the hut was so gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Had everything you need. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

Rook Lane House, a historic bed and breakfast built in 1604, is set in Frome. Private off-road parking and free WiFi are provided. The weekend that we spent at Rook Lane House yielded one delightful surprise after another. Topping them all was the welcome received from a host with a fabulous feel for all that you could want to make a stay special and memorable. This found a lovely echo in the charm and grace of the house itself, and the fascination of the history that comes with it. The restoration is superbly sympathetic, but with all mod. cons. laid on, creating some suitably stylish (and spotlessly clean) spaces in which to sleep and shower - and savour, moreover, a mouthwateringly delicious breakfast.
