This hotel is very good, comfortable and safe. There is a 24 hours reception. When we arrived there, the receptionist showed us the rooms The car park was a free, just need to registration your car plate. There is a Pub where you can have the brakefast or lunch. We were as a two family and we felt ourself comfortable and safe. If I want to visit in this area, I wil be use this service again.
😉 Lovely owner very friendly and welcoming and greeted us with a smile. My room was a bit small but what a comfortable bed and great coffee / tea facilities and the breakfast was very good too, a lovely glamorous waitress from Bulgaria seeing to our needs, nicely decorated and great value for money as I had a double bed for a single price of the stay. I'd definitely stay again, many thanks.
Despite several confirmation emails I was told the day before travelling that my booking had not been registered, which I would not have found out had I not contacted the property to ask about amenities. This was obviously very inconvenient and worrying as I could have easily arrived on the day to find I had nowhere to stay. I am told that the fault is with booking.com.
the lovely warm welcome and service from the brilliant greeting to getting extra pillows nothing was too much trouble and all done with smiles despite being extremely busy.. so a great thanks to keith and alice. we had stayed the night before at the marriott as i had an appt there and moved because friends were at the Ibis - a good move as we had much better service. decided to stay for breakfast and again met with the same good standard for service by the 2 chaps there - they were run off their feet but all smiles. would stay again.
I let reception know the room smelt really damp and I understood why when I opened the curtains in the morning , the netting was covered in mould about thirty cm up and all along . In contrast , The leisure staff were excellent and so were the bar staff, real shame about the room as we picked Marriott because it usually gives a high standard of hygiene.
The hotel sits on well maintained grounds with a lovely drive up to the hotel.
The reception and bar staff were very helpful, friendly and pleasant.
Breakfast was fine, a bit basic for a Marriott Hotel. ( I am comparing this to the other 4 hotels we stayed in that week). Bed clean, and comfortable.
