The hotel is fine. Not new but we knew that. Well kept. But the staff exceeded our expectations. My wife left her phone on a subway car, we were helped by the lady at the reception desk to such a degree that in two hours we had the phone back. Yes we used Find My Phone and obviously a good citizen turned it in, but she made all the difference. The rest of the staff shared a pride in their hotel. You don’t see that often.

The room was very well maintained and accommodated everything we needed for a night's stay. We asked for a late checkout very last minute and they offered it with no problem. We had a pretty good view of the city as well.

Absolutely loved our stay here. We wanted to do something special for our anniversary and this hit the mark. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the harbor, and shortly after we checked in we had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room. The room was comfortable and clean, the hotel was beautiful, and the staff couldn’t have been better. We will be back!

Everything. Homey feel to the public areas and room, great bed, good shower, fridge-freezer, coffee/tea making facility. American-style, just about everything I could want was offered for breakfast. Just to point out, plates, cups, cutlery all disposable, but quality of food was of pretty high standard. Staff very pleasant. 15min walk from the Assembly Row shopping district (on other side of Mystic river).
